The 2008 BFA Annual Meeting was held at the Days Inn, Chesterfield Mall, Midlothian, VA on October 17-19. The BFA group toured Buckingham County, VA visiting many Bondurant historical sites and homes.

BFA Tour Group had lunch at Col Alto, the home built by Col. Thomas M. Bondurant for his son, Alexander Joseph Bondurant.

The BFA group also toured Perry Hill, the home built by Col. Thomas M. Bondurant for his daughter, Angelina Judith on her marriage to Dr. William Paxton Hall, Sr.

The group also visited Twelve Oaks, a much earlier house that was constructed in 1776 by an unknown Bondurant. It stands on part of Dr. Joseph Bondurant's 2200 acres of Buckingham Co. land. Might it have been built by Dr Joseph? Who knows? It was constructed during his lifetime.
